At Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, near Square Market (Kare Çarşı), the local cats are well known by all students—they are a familiar and beloved part of daily life. Just like these cats, diagnostic reasoning is always present in medical practice, but truly understanding it requires attention, curiosity, and insight.
The cat symbolizes intelligence, mystery, and deep observation, while the square (kare) represents structured thinking and medical knowledge. In diagnosis, every detail matters, and patterns emerge when you learn to see them.
